i'm sitting at work now. after coming in for 3 days last week and not having a computer, they finally set up my old one again. it's pretty crappy, especially compared to the new sleek black towers with the flatscreen monitors everyone else has. but who am i to complain (an office assistant)? i was excited because when i came in last monday, there was one of the new computers at my cubicle. but that's because they had set it up for someone else to work on temporarily. and they didn't know i was coming back, so they cancelled my login and put this computer away. it also seems like they wiped everything stored on my login's network folder. which is bad. but i don't want to deal with it now... i think i'll go eat lunch instead.

it also means no aim at work until i figure out a way to get around the admin's installation protections again. last time wasn't so hard. but i should get the newer version so i can do that transparency trick. or is that a deadaim feature?
