movies part 20: chronicles of riddick

i saw this at enfield for 4 dollars. this might be a sequel to pitch black, but it's an entirely different genre. action action action. sure it has aliens and strange weapons and hellish prison planets, but it can't be anything but action.

jack turned out HOT. who is she? hmm, trusty old IMDB says alexa davalos. that's greek, right? greek people have weird names. anyways, she's HOT. and kinda nuts. sexy.

the movie was out of control, with each sequence getting more ridiculous than the next, but it was a good ridiculous. oh shit, can i say "riddick-ulous?" i guess i just did.

apparently there's an animated CGI short film (30 min) called chronicles of riddick: the dark fury. it takes place right after pitch black. i'm a little interested.
