I was about to comment something nasty to that person's blog, but they really don't need to hear anything from me. That's the problem with Republicans, you can't change their mind through logic. Someone can tell me that Kerry sucks because his health care plan is ambiguous, he makes inappropriate remarks about Cheney's daughter's sexuality, and he is sometimes ambiguous about his foreign policy. I'm not an idiot, and I can readily admit the weaknesses of my preferred candidate.

Try talking to a republican, and all you hear is misrepresentations of Kerry's "world test" notion and a pair of flip-flops kicked at your face.

Hi Eric,
Sorry for ruining your mood! He was just looking so cute with that on his back that we had to share. As far as the rest, well, to each his own. We may be morons, but we are truly and honestly seeking the best candidate, not just the republican one. It just happens that when all is said and done, we truly believe Bush to be the better candidate. Note: I didn't say the best candidate. I will be the first to admit that I wish there was a candidate I could back 100%, but that is like wishing for the lottery.

I do appreciate your initial comments on our family. I think they still apply, even if we are a bunch of morons! :)

As far as raising our kids, hopefully "moronness" isn't genetic or there would be no hope. Fortunately, though, I don't think it is so there is some hope at least. Actually we plan on raising our children to be free thinkers. I absolutely do not wanting them to think/believe something like a mindless robot. That works for a while (Thank God!! Can you imagine a 2-3 year old that wouldn't listen as they walk in front of a semi!) but there is a point where they need to look at life and the world and make their own decisions. I want to give my kids the wherewithall to actively seek the truth in the world, since without truth, what is there.

Well it is very late and I'm rambling on giving yet more proof of my moronicy! Again, I am sincerely sorry for ruining your mood. I hope next time you can look past the surface humor/political comment and see just how cute he was looking at that moment. But then a picture just doesn't do it justice!
