a phrase i like

"we are not amused."

dunno why i like it. amanda's post that started off with, "and now we are 21," brought it to mind. again, dunno why.

if i was a teacher, i would work that phrase to death. i remember wanting to tear off ms. warren's lips every time she used the phrase touch base, which was about 3 times per sentence. history teacher in high school. she and i did not see eye to eye. man, that is poetry. i am a poet. we are not amused.
