the rule of four

i borrowed this from my new roommate and colleague, craig, because i have not brought any books over yet. a nice read. i always heard that the da vinci code was cheesy, in a trashy romance novel turned into a puzzle book sort of way. kind of like how r a salvator is cheesy fantasy. but craig tells me it's better than the rule of four, so maybe i should give it a shot.

the style of the prose is what got me. wordsmiths, the two authors are. a passage i enjoyed, in particular.

nevermind. the book is downstairs. i'll edit this later. or never.

there's a passage about the true meaning of the phrase, love conquers all. i liked it.

and one about the science of loneliness.

housewarming

what a fucking night. holy shit. the people i work with are really generous.

i am now one of those guys. i have joined the ranks of, as far as i can tell, fernando, zhu, and don. a proud crew, to say the least.

first quarter is over. no real disasters.

i've moved out of my house. i now live in a duplex in indian orchard with jon and this new teacher at sci-tech named craig.

i've seen the fourth harry potter movie. incredible. ralph fiennes is my new anti-hero.

we're having a housewarming party tonight. lots of teachers should be coming.

i've written my first college recommendation for a student.

we should be having a new principal on monday. we still don't know who it will be.

i've upgraded my cell phone. no camera (good), no external display (i do miss this), no antenna (which makes it look so much cooler), and a speaker phone (which i will never use).
